This model is one of the first in the new collectible series of cars in The Brumos Collection. This is a limited edition run of only 200 models, with the first 43 models sold being signed by legend Hurley Haywood.  

It may not carry the #59, but our 1975 Porsche RSR was a Brumos car before it sported its current livery. In 1977,  Hurley Haywood didn’t trust the new but untried turbo 935s, so he joined John Graves and Dave Helmick to drive the 24 Hours of Daytona in this ex-Brumos RSR that he trusted. With its Brumos-styled livery, the #43 scored an upset win against the new 935s. Dubbed the Ecurie Escargot, French for "Team Snail",  the slow but steady pace of the RSR proved too much for the turbos just coming online. Haywood knew as much going in and was proven right with the team's first place finish.
