The 2017 Porsche 911 RSR (991.2) featured a mid-engine layout to improve aerodynamics and balance. The tribute livery was famously worn by the Porsche GT Team during the 2019 IMSA season. The throwback livery was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of IMSA, when Brumos ran the iconic livery on its 911 RSRs.
